The Club

Hertford LTC prides itself on being a friendly Club run in the interests of all the family, for all ages and for all levels of playing ability.

The Club encompasses a thriving Junior Section for players up to 18 years old that offers supervised coaching sessions, match play, tournaments and social evenings. 

There are various classes of membership which offer various levels of privilege.

Adult members have the option of playing social tennis on a number of mornings, evenings and or Sunday afternoons. All grades of player are catered for. There are various types of membership giving a range of opportunities. The more competitive can enjoy a game of singles when court space permits. All full members have the opportunity of playing in one of the many teams that the Club organises and in several club competitions each year.

The Club plays in the Hertfordshire Senior Leagues and County National Club League for both Ladies and Men. In addition less experienced members have the chance to play in competitive matches against other clubs in both local leagues and friendlies.

For beginners there are organised coaching sessions and our resident, highly experienced, BTA Coaching team is always on hand to offer advice on a more personal basis.

You may occasionally bring visitors at a fee of £5 - an individual can only play as a visitor 3 times in any club membership year.
